Teacher Requirements

  • Teaching Certificate

    CHA teachers must have the necessary certificate/license/credentials to teach students of the corresponding age, grade level, and subject area in the student’s home state.

  • Teaching Experience

    CHA requires a minimum of one full year of teaching to be considered for an open position.

  • Strong Reference

    Candidates interested in teaching for CHA must provide three credible and relevant references as part of the application process.

  • Reliable Transportation

    Although virtual learning is always a possibility, CHA teachers must have access to consistent and reliable transportation in order to meet with students and families in their home.

  • Technology

    All CHA teachers must have access to a functional computer and high-speed internet for in-person and virtual instruction.
