Four and Under

At CHA, we serve students starting in Kindergarten through 5th grade. For children 16 months to four years, we have partnered with Real Mom Speech-Language Pathology (RealMomSLP). This is a space for parents, caregivers, educators and specialty providers to come together in support of each other. Strategies and tips are given for early speech and language development as well as offering workshops, courses and small group, weekly sessions to support families, like yours, in developing your innate ability to “Think Like a Speech Pathologist”!

Hi! I’m Marisa!

I’ve been a board certified, licensed Speech Pathologist and communication expert for over 20 years. I empower parents, caregivers, educators, and specialty providers with knowledge, strategies, activities, and support for the early learners in life to communicate and more easily connect. We will help you connect with your child in a way that you never thought was possible, a way that transforms your relationship and ignites your communication skills and confidence!

Speech-Language Pathology

Pre-Linguistic Skills.

Pre-verbal skills are directly correlated to later language and reading skills. What if your child’s style of communication and how is your parenting style impacting connection?

Expressive/Receptive Language.

Looking at expressive and receptive language means evaluating how much your child understands and is saying. This is a critical element in seeing if they made the “communicative connection” and are processing language.
